Starring Jimmy Stewart, Sandra Dee and Audrey Meadows,
this was Bob's second movie for Fox.

Bob's Take:
Since the whole country knew me as Maynard G. Krebs by this time, casting me as a beatnik
was a pretty safe bit of typecasting. I had a coffeehouse scene with Mr. Stewart - talk about being
nervous! We ran the lines a few times, then shot the scene. I had wondered if he would deliver his
lines with his trademark ahs and ums. He did. I managed to get my words out, and the whole
thing was over much too quickly. After working with the great Jimmy Stewart, I felt I had arrived!
